that reminds me of a game we use to play back when we were but a couple yrs into playing. 4 or 5 of us would get together and play simon on guitar.
you remember simon? the game with lights that you had to hit in order?
we would pick a simple key like C and around we would go. it was really fun to do.
great for learning and memory. then we would mix it up a bit, when you got done playing your part you took a shot. man you would drink up real fast at the beginging, then the buzz would kick it and then it was time to really start depending on your memory.
one could make it interesting and charge $3 to play a round, like in poker.
man you got $&@# faced quick in this game.

It's known as call and return, a style of blues players like srv, and alot of others, it has its roots in the blues, it's almost like one man plays but it sounds like two guitars playin, your setin down the lets say basic 3 chourds, but your also leadin at the same time, in time, and well man its, holy smokes this is gonna be a hard one for me to explain, anyways when it goes around a room full of guitar players its quiet the time, if you ask some of the better players on this forum, they will be able to fill you in, in a more meaningfull way, just ask what call and return style is, they will know how to explain it so it will be clear to you as I will only screw things up, srv is famous for this style, now imagion five or six guys workin it. hope that didn,t hurt to much!

yeah, ok look, 5 guys in the game. then everybody pitches in $3 to start the game.
it goes around once. if the guy that started wants to raise the pot he can.
often it doesnt do any good because its easy at this point. after its went around a few times he can raise it say $2. everybody pitches in, if you dont your out that round. it goes around again. raise or not, then again. you screw up your out, last man in gets the pot.
