That's a good looking guitar, my man--you have a beautiful instrument.

You've inspired me to break out in song:

Ode to PQuarmby and his Stratocaster
(Sung to the tune of "Mercedes Benz")

"Oh Lord, won't you buy me an old hard-tail Strat?
I need a bit more sustain with a tone that's nice & fat
Black finish & some maple, you know that's where it's at
Oh Lord, won't you buy me an old hard-tail Strat?"

I love hard-tail Strats--I wish Fender made some in Mexico nowadays (for affordability)...

Love it!

We can always count on our brothers from Texas to come up with a nice musical parody set to some appropriate ♫♫♫!

8)

(and it's a very sweet guitar, BTW)

Rawk on!

Arjay

Sorry for the delay :) some sweet looking 70s Strats here! 8)

Here's my 79 hardtail... unlike most 70s Strat mine is actually light, 7 lbs 6 oz and IMO has the best neck I've ever played. Maybe cause it was my very first guitar and I got used to it...
