Oh yeah I'm excited about the new Black Crowes album. I bought the dvd of the reunion shows they did last year I think it was or maybe it was the year before. Have you ever heard of the Rx Bandits? They are a band from I think orange county, ca somewhere. They've gone through a lot of changes over the years. Some pretty awesome musicians in that band.
Never heard of them but will google and check it out.

Also guys if you want some cool funky stuff check out the my space page for Jefferson Steelplex and His Neptune Society. Cool harp and guitar work, Marc Ford again, and I think it is a bunch of studio musicians from compound studios. anyway....

JJ Cale's "Rewind" is a good one.

A band I've been into for a long time is Mogwai. They're a post rock band hailing from my patch (Glasgow) and even went to the same school as a friend of mine.

They've been around for quite a while now, but still I find a lot of people have never heard of them so I figured it was worth suggesting.

Albums you should check out:

Come on Die Young
Happy Songs for Happy People
Mr Beast

If you're into bands like Sigur Rós then you'll like them. Everyone should check them out, some epic tunes and great melodies going on in their music.

Youtube vids:

Glasgow Mega Snake
Ratts Of the Capital
Punkrock

I hope you like them!

Gasolin' is the best danish rock band ever http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... rch=Search
All are Danish bands

I bought 1 of Tims used guitars for my little brother, a Rick 360
And my singer is playing a 66body-76neck tele used on most D.A.D recordings over the past 15 years, and an old jazzmaster(70's i think) that has been Tim C's

Scream Aim and Fire by Bullet for my Valentine is a great album. I just bought it. It rocks. It takes more of a thrash direction than their past stuff, which was more metalcore

Best tone coming out of any guitar right now in my opinion!!! Warm and sweet!

Check out his home page it has a jukebox at the top.

There is a good band up here in Canada called Pilot Speed. I use to play Bass with the Lead singer, guitarist Todd Clark. I find they have a very unique sound and are great to just chill out to.
