Well after an agonizing 6 weeks, my guitar is finally here! (I know there are guys who have been waiting months!)

This is the Squier Telecaster Custom II. This is a great guitar for the money. It has the Duncan Designed P90s in it. I don't have a guitar with P90s so I figured I'd give 'em a try. I am really liking this guitar. I still need to give it a string change and a set up. There are a few QC issues that are very minor and cosmetic, but issues none the less. Almost every screw on the pickguard was drilled in on an angle. There is a bit of plastic on the edge of the pickguard that needs to be trimmed and one of the tuners is a little crooked (its drilled in the right spot, just tightened a little off). I can fix the tuner issue and trim the guard when I do the set up, but I think the screws have to stay.

From the first time I saw those guitars, I thought, "Brilliant idea!" Congrats on your purchase.

You have to be careful with those P90s, though--they're addictive. I put some Pete Biltoft Vintage Vibe SP90 pups in my Strat (Strat-sized pickups voiced/spec'd like a P90), and later put a Mighty Mite P90 in the neck position of my Tele, and now it's almost a must for any guitar I look at to have P90s in them--they're just rich, fat and creamy without being screamy...
