Hi everyone, new to this. I have a black fender strat 1978. As i cant play guitar i have had this guitar in its case for the past 20 years, from when i got it for my 5th birthday. Anyone know a value for this

It depends of what kind of condition its in, which I'm assuming is good.

This one is going for $2500, but thats not to say it'll sell at that price.

Thanks for that, its in fine condition, could do with a good clean etc as its has all original parts. Would never sell this but its good to know the price.

Also--how did you get a Stratocaster when you were five years old? I was still fighting for Hot Wheels at that point!

Well, it was a present from my uncle who has a few guitars as well as a fender strat in cream and white, not sure what age that is but he has had it since i was young.

I will upload a photo in a few minutes....
