Well I broke my three month old Dean Markley LTHB's yesterday. Just a quick review:

The Gauge is 10-52 making it truly excellent for heavier stuff, I personally played punk, but lets not exclude the fact that they were pretty good for gritty blues and good hit regular highs excellently. In about the beginning of March they lost their flavor and I play around 20 hours a week so they lasted considerably long. I would defiantly suggest these to someone exploring different gauges and string types.

Okay, I changed them to a Hybrid (9-46) gauge and so far they sound great, bring a real recording sounding brightness to my tone. Ill comeback and do a little review once these go out.

So anyways I just ordered some GHS GBTNT Boomers Thin-Thick Electric Guitar Strings Gauge 10-52, anyone had any experience with these????????????????

And I ordered some D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings for my Epiphone DR- 100 so Im also looking for a review of these

Thanks, so yeah

I play with GHS Low Tunes... they're Nickel Rockers... 10-58... LOVE THEM!!!! I used to play the standard Nickel Rockers 10's set but the Low Tunes really make my Strats sing.

Personal Guitar $@!& Update (You Probably Dont Care)
who?

you are a Forum member, why would you think other members probably don't care?

if you want to cut, meaning, play guitar well you have to man up to the song, D'Addario XL nickel wound Jazz Mediums .013-.056. when you're good with those get heavier. see you under the lights Bro.

I got a set of GHS 10-52 and they were fine.

I play DR strings in the same gauge now. I played Blue Steel strings for ever, but they got too hard to find.

I like the 10-52 gauge strings for chording. It sounds better to me than a 10-46 set. The 10-52 and 10-46 sets have the same unwound strings, so bending the (high) E, B, and G strings doesn't change.

I've been using GHS strings since I started playing 18 years ago, 9's were the beginning. Then I switched to 10's. Well, my buddy turned me on to GHS TNT's about 5 years ago, and absolutely love them. I have friends who use slinkys, and I've tried other strings, and just didn't like em. I stick with the GHS TNT's, it may all be in my head, but I prefer the way they feel, and I'll reccomend them to any and everybody.

I've used Ernie Ball ever since I got my strat. Started off with regular slinkies, worked my way to beefy, past not even slinky, and now I have to buy custom gauge single strings to get the gauge I want xP I generally play blues, funk, and jazz, and I can get great tones out of them. Once I heard how punchy these strings can get, I never used thinner strings again.

Right now though, I use 0.14(plain), 0.20(plain), 0.24 (plain), 0.36 (wound), 0.48 (wound), 0.60 (would), but it wreaks havoc on my neck, so after the strings get stretched out, I slacken the strings so that they last longer and reduce the chance of bending the neck.

Guitar strings are a personal thing. You have to play around with them until you find the ones right for you. Let us know how the ones you ordered worked. I am more of a Fender Bullets or D'Addario's 10-48 Nickel strings.

I have used GHS, Earnie Ball, and Dean Markley (still like them too).
