He's great, Ironically I have been thinking about building a fretless strat for a while since I also play the Violin and Viola.

Govan also has a couple of methodology books out one in particular, Creative Guitar is a different way of looking at improving technique while encapsulating creativity.

Thanks for posting bobster-that's the first I've heard of him,he's just something else.I'd love to know what kind of wah or triggered wah he's using that's something else altogether too especially where he was doing the harmonics/slapping parts.

There is something oddly intriguing about fretless guitar.

'Had a Fretless Jazz Bass for almost 11 years, it gets played, but not out.

There was a fretless Godin(?) at local Sam Ash a while ago with fret markers on the bass side of the fingerboard edge and it was sniffed at repeatedly. Eventually it went away and this was the first recurrance of the thought. Hmm.

Is there a regular column in any of the guitar mags on fretless?
