It's a band? news to me. I thought it was one of those crappy tshirt companies like affliction or something. Can't keep track a new one comes out every week and they all look the same.

I used to like avenged sevenfold. But I kind of lost interest after hearing them live and realizing that except for the Rev, they are incapable of playing their own complicated songs in a live setting. I still pop City of Evil in every once in a while, that was a good album.

Avenged Sevenfold, Cowboys91, the band is OK they seem to have sold out a bit since the early days. I heard some music from a Chicago band The Infamous, couldn't find a vid for you only found a FB page with no info, Bunker Hill singer played the disc for me. not as hardcore as a dozen years ago but still face melting rock.

Yea they have sold out quite a bit, but even some of those songs are still very good. I haven't gotten to see them live yet (they came here and I didn't go, still kicking myself.) I'm pretty into theory and I love the scales and techniques Synyster employs in his soloing to give it his signature creepy sound. I can see how it would be hard for them to continue after the Rev's death.

Nickelback is the Nickelback of metal. A7X was a good band, I particularly like their stuff on City of Evil and their earlier records.

Lol well put. After listening to their latest album Nightmare I realized they are definetly not like Nickelback. They're music is so diverse and well orchestrated. For example, I recommend first listening to the song Nightmare, then immediatly after listening toVictim. Totally different. Then listen to other songs like Dear God and a Little Piece of Heaven. So different!

I have a couple of hits on rotation, they're the stuff that sits along Story of the Year and some Saosin for me. Not the biggest fan, but I can appreciate then. :D

Songs like Blinded in Chains, Unholy Confessions, so on and so forth.
