Can you please list a few must learn advanced songs for me to try a whack at. Just so you know what i mean by advanced, the lowest skill in that category would be Smells Like Teen Spirit and there Highest being like Crazy Train or Tears in Heaven. Please no metal, just rock/punk/grunge/alternative/blues/folk

Don't Fear The Reaper by The Blue Oyster Cult sounds way more difficult than it is, especially the main riff that starts the song and plays right through most of it.It's just a very cool song, people do a double take if they hear you play it in a music store etc. because it sounds harder than it really is.

Mason Williams' "Classical Gas" with electric strat tuned 1/2 step down for that clear Jimmi/SRV sustain. Play it through a Fender blackface or silverface amp if possible.

Or, Knopfler's "Sultains of Swing" with strat and tweed amp. Maintain the right pressure on the fingerpick attack and you will be in a groove.

Both songs are well documented in tabs and notation and are abundent.

im workin on the main riff for dont fear the reaper, when he starts singing, does he just switch to full chords instead of picking them
