usually folks like this will blame this type of attitude on their quest for
music creativity. well thats BS. they themselves have a couple deep seeded issues and
start to take it out on anybody and everybody they can, and oh by the way,
nothing is ever their fault either. does he do everybody in the band like this or just you?

he's like this only to me and everytime something complicated comes up to me he has all the pleasure in telling me that i'll never do it and that i suck resumingly... no one has ever complained to me and i know shred ain't my strong point so why bother letting me know?

Mate they are pretty much the same thing. Wayne Charvel started out making replacement parts for strats that were so good, he put whole guitars together. Then Grover Jackson jumped onboard too.
Now Fender owns both companies.

If I were you, I'd get a cheapie to kick around and use as a spare stage guitar. Even if you dont love it, you may find it usefull for some songs and it's always good to have a spare onstage that you can guarantee is in tune.
All mine are, are cheapies. The one covered in stickers has been round the world with me gigging. Before anyone says you can't gig a cheap instrument.

Time to tell him "Have a nice day!" and move on. Life is too short to spend it accommodating the DHs when you don't have to. (and DH doesn't stand for Dear Heart---the "h" is for "Head"--figure out the D yourself!)

dang so his problem is with you, or so he says.
ok first i tread the thin ice by asking this,
does your playing need more "attention" in your
opinion? maybe our first class DH just doesnt know
how to talk to people very well. maybe he has to much moral
fexability in his tonge and he cant conduct himself
in an adult situation. what does the rest of the band think about his
conduct and openess towards you? do they share his opinions?
does he really contribute to the band or is he just a member?
(is this the band where the chic is the drummer and she likes the bass player
story we heard about a month ago)
is this band in a working situation or is it pretty much just some folks getting
together to jam every so often? people use the word "band" way to often in
situations like this on here. two or 3 folks getting together to jam is far from
being a band. is this guy generally a nice guy otherwise to you or is he a DH 24/7?

Okay, if we are to talk about a guitar with a floyd in it, well Jackson's are a good one, but I prefer this one right here....

I love my Floyd Rose on my Kramer. They are great for keeping things in tune and whammy stuff.

way cool jr you got me... it's the exact same story and i talked to my drummer on her opinion and she honestly doesn't give a hoot she says i play good she just wants our constant fighting to end and our new singer is also kinda freaked out about it... at a personal level i think i play alright (i guess we can all do better) but i'm always learning i'm open to new ideas i may not be fast (metal fast) but i think i'm a pretty fair guitarist... i know i can do better and i'm trying but how can i when my DH bassist is always bringing me down?

I have an original Floyd Rose on my Jackson and it's worked out great for me. Once it's set up correctly it's a breeze. Just remember at string change time DO THEM ONE AT A TIME. If you feel the need to use "crazy tunings" invest in a 'Tremol no' it will lock your Floyd in place so you can Change tunings all you want (but it's now a hardtail guitar until you return it to the tuning that the bridge is set for). For those who just use standard tuning and Dropped D, get a D-Tuna. Flip the lever and you're D tuned and still floating.

I find that a lot of the "Floyd haters" out there did not invest in an original Floyd Rose trem. They saved a few bucks by buying a "licensed copy of . . . " The licensed units (for the most part) are made of inferior materials by less than optimal craftsmen, that's why they cost less. And you really do get what you pay for.
