this is said to be a very early 70's teisco. could be a E-110.
the guy told me that his dad bought it way back when, played it for ever,
then passed it down. the guy said he rather play piano and bass so the guitar has been setting for yrs. the asking price is $50. i dont own a teisco and thought this might be a good buy. some folks collect these things. ive never played one, didnt ever appeal to all the knobs and switches ya know? so what do ya think?

The little badge on the headstock can sell for upwards of $75.00 at times, $50.00 is a good deal.

doing more research it does appear to be a 1969 E-100.

Get it...they sound great for slide! I'd love to put some of those pups in a Strat or Tele...

From what I read (quick searches) they are pretty horrible .
But selling it for parts may be worth it if your into ebay.... but from my experience , it usually ends up being more of a pain in the butt than its worth to sell parts on there

If you don't ,I will,I've always wanted one of these little gems.An old Tiesco guitar and an old Valco or Silvertone amp= Garage band heaven. My buddy who played drums in my first band had a Tiesco with that same body shape only for it was a tobacco burst and had a striped aluminum pickguard-his model was a late 60s.The action was super close and the neck was real skinny. You really should buy it as it looks to be in A-1 condition and they're being bought up more and more by collectors so the pickin's will soon be getting slim.

Even though those guitars were and of course, still are monumental PsOS, there is a big market for them where you could easily flip that guitar for at least 5 times what you'll be paying for it (if not more). For this reason alone, I say bag it!

well i got there and notice one thing right off that makes all the difference in the world, the name badge was missing. after looking it over and evaluating the guitar, i had to let it pass. sucks because this was infact a E-100. came out in 1969. just more to put into it than i wanted to deal with to be honest. the pics look better than the actual guitar did in person.

"May of been born yesterday, but i never said it was early in the mornin!" 50$ is alot of money for a "crtified POS" grats on not purchasing JR. lol smooth choice in my humble opinion.
