Paint It Black is pretty easy-only 4 chords altogether.Em,B and the chorus is just Em,D,G,D,Em then Em,D,G,D,B.That in effect is the whole song and you can play the melody on the B string with the E 1st droning open to give a sitar effect. The when it changes to B play the melody on the G string with the B string for the drone.

Honky tonk woman, Jumpin jack flash, start me up, and wild horses or Sympathy for the Devil is what I would do.

devo lol. i remember that version they did.
devo was a very strange group. i once read that the very first gig they ever played they were so strange that the crowd rushed the stage and beat them up pretty bad.
as they set there cleaning themselves up and wiping blood off themselves, the crowd
started to feel bad for them and encouraged them to play anyways. in the end they recieved like 4X what they ever expected to get for the gig and were invited back to do another show.

Wow, That's one way to get remembered, Even bad press is good press, anyway, I think that's because DEVO was musically a little ahead of their time......in fact I think the world is still waiting for that time. Funny video though. I like the part where the baby puts the fork in the toaster. Awesome! Oh, and the backseat of the car scene too. Try that tuning, you'll see how easy it is to get those Stones sounds. 8) BTW, Keith Richards used to remove his 6th string. He didn't need it. Played open G with 5 strings. He also used a Capo on the first or second fret depending on the song. It's amazing how many of their songs are like that.

i read a interview with keith some yrs ago. the reviewer was talking about reading a story where mick stated that richards never showed up to any practice until they were actually getting ready for a tour. he said well yeah, i already know how to play chords why do i need to practice them if i already know them?
wow, only keith could say that and get by with it.

For years I didn't know that "Ruby Tuesday" was a stones song. I don't know how tough their version is, but the version by Melanie is kinda tricky but incredible. Danced with my mom to it at my wedding. I also love "Wild Horses" and "Dead Flowers".

For a newer song, I love "Thru & Thru" off Voodo Lounge. Keef Sings!

This version has got to be the easiest version of "Wild Horses" I've ever come across, and it's in standard tuning. Great Acoustic song, and it sounds convincing in it's stripped down version, Gram Parsons wrote this, that's why the FBB were able to record a version. http://www.chordie.com/chord.pere/www.g ... /6532.html Dead Flowers is another easy one in standard tuning http://www.chordie.com/chord.pere/www.r ... lowers.cpm
