yeah im putting this in the wrong spot i know.........

just about to drop off my champ for a solid once over.
might do some modes while im there. any ideas on what i should get checked or what
mods i should think about?

I wouldn't modify anything on it. Maybe change to newer tubes thats all. Why modify a classic?

the "classic" would be the blk face champ, not so much the silverface.
its a great opportunity to take a sweet amp and tweak it to something better.
ever build something or write something and after time look back on it and say
"dang, i wish i would have............" we can do that now with some of the older gear
that we have. make it a bit better than it was designed so long ago.
if it were a true classic i wouldnt touch it. i want it to break up a little sooner than it does. plus a speaker replacement is in order. might add a fat boost as well.
