Hello everyone. I have a problem that will likely have a very easy solution and it's probably just something that I'm overlooking. Keep in mind that I'm bran new to the guitar world and I'm JUST now starting out so excuse my ignorance.

The other day I just bought my first guitar (MIM Fender Strat) and the G-DEC 3 amplifier. I just got around to setting everything up today and already I have a problem. No matter what settings I have on the amp, all I get is the same mellow accoustic sound. No matter where I have the treble, middle, base, gain, reverb, etc., I get exactly the same sound. I even tried going through the presets and still, nothing changes. Obviously I didn't buy an electric guitar to get an acoustic sound. Me being the noob that I am, I've gotta be overlooking something...

Fender has a great 5 year warranty. They replaced my amp with no problems.
