I have the Fuse manual for my G-dec3 15, and the manual for the G-dec, but I can't figure it all out. The Fuse manual tells you what all the controls are for and how to tweak things, but I don't know how to get anything to play on the amp?

I don't know what the amp needs to be set at?

I can't get presets to play on the computer nor the amp?

If I set the amp to usb, then the program gets stuck forever on "updating files"?

Please help this old school guy, who doesn't have the intuitiveness of modern digital things.........HELP!!

Hi Starboy, Id like to help, but have no experience with the "New" Gdecs. Did you try posting and looking in the Gdec 3 and Fuse forums/ You might have better luck there

Hope this helps

Bill

Fender has a great 5 year warranty. They replaced my amp with no problems.

Now don't be cheeky! I don't give up that easy. I'm just looking for forum help.
I have gained some ground since I wrote here and can get the factory presets to play on my amp from Fuse, but can't figure out other related stuff.

You need to post this in the correct forum, like the G-DEC forum

It's really a bit tedious from the start of strumming your guitars, all of us have experienced this. Sometimes you get to the point that you really like to give up during the learning process. But if guitar playing is really your passion you pursue it. It's like a dream that need to pursue and live forever, so keep the music playing.

Today it is easier than ever to learn to play guitar with great online resources available. Some recommended courses are reviewed on

Right you are. The thing is, I've played guitar for decades, but the processing of the of music and recording and such, has never been important. I used to mess around with tape recorders once, but now with all this digital equipment and the terminology, this I don't know. I bought a digital camera to take photos. I can't understand much of the manual, because there's an assumption that you should know the terms used. I wish the instructions started at first priciples and went from there with some kind of glossary involved too.

I bought the G-Dec, because I gave my son my Frontman 25R, and though the back up music would help my timing and make for a fuller sound.

starboy, you'll do just fine and understand it all in time because you presented reasons very well, I understood them and from them you are understanding I think. Thank you starboy.
