My three favourites shape?
This one I like to call just wrong:

This one I use if there is a change that an dragon attacks me during a jam:

And this is the one for when I feel fluffy... OMG IT'S SO FLUFFY

In all seriousness it would be those three shapes:
The Tele:

The Les Paul:

And last but not least... I don't know what it's called so I just call it the Gretsch hollow body look:

Of any brand? I'd say (in no particular order):

- SGs, as they're legendary and the horns have so much attitude. Les Paul are a close second because they're simple and vintage yet beautiful.

- Jazz Basses. Well, just look at them. You might be hooked for hours. I do!

- Ibanez SR Basses. Slick, slim and edgy. It doesn't hurt that they weight next to nothing!

Honorary mentions:
- Kramer D Basses
- Steinberger L Headless Basses
- Musicman Stingray Basses

Yeah, what can I say. I'm a bassist, and one of the things I really love about basses is their long, stylized bodies and necks.

Steinberger,
Paul Reed Smith,
Les Paul,

However, I like the feel, sound, and playability of the Strat.
