When you change the strings on your guitar, take some time out to think, of what they are, and of where thay've been, and what they might have seen. Think of the kind of music they've maid, and the songs they may have sung.Have they been twangy, or mellow and slow, have they cried out the blues. Can they play country, and rock and role, can they thump out a rhythm, or sture the emotions, of fans all over the land. I think they have, and will again, with the help of the man, standing out on the stage, for all the world to see. Without him, a guitar string is simpley that, and that's all it would ever bee. But before you get to full of yourself ther's something I want you to see. Altho a guitar string, is nothing more than a wire, strung over a piece of wood, without it you would be a cook, or a chemist, or maby a cowboy, and you would have missed out, on what you've become, A guitar player is what you are, and forever more will bee.

You're right a guitar is nothing but firewood without the strings.
