To all forum souls, why? why do we have this addiction to the strings of heaven, are we not like everyone else, can,t we just destroy our brains on drugs and money and power and greed and go about our days never playing a note or strumming a melody.
Is it that our minds are different in composition and that the notes we create are the candy or drug that we chose to abuse, is it that we as a band of players have surcomed to the craveings of tuneage,the want of sound waves and the beat of rythum,our world tells us we are a blessing as the shout alowd, kill them! we suffer the cross of peace but play in a world of hatered and fear. We are the champions my friends, we are the souls of the world, the speekers of truth and justis for all mankind,and ladies, we make the statements that the world truly hears, and we can change this world to be a more forgiveing world if we all strive to achive these simple goals, when I wake in the morning I take my strat out of it's case and I play a few simple notes and then stand it in the chair across from me and look at it, as if I were looking at a beautiful women, I see the beauty in front of me, and the power she posseses, a sight to behold! but ya gotta look deep cuase the secrets she posseses have yet to be expresed, and you just know that a new day is comin. and this is my drug of choice the best high. we call it keepin six!

That is deep. My guitar is my drug of choice. It gets me up, brings me down, and allows me to express my feelings in ways I cannot express in words. It keeps me out of trouble (and sometimes keeps me in trouble). I would not trade in my guitars for any thing other than another guitar.
