That oughta get things rolling..

Been experimenting with connectors and cords due to some grounding/noise issues..,what are ya'll liking?

Direct connectors between pedals, short patch cord runs or......?

Also, how about cables? Who likes what and what do ya'l think is the best bang for the buck these days?

For longer instrument patch cords and speaker cables I find Road-Hog to be both fairly inexpensive and very reliable-I've had mine for over 20 years with no problems. For shorter effect to effect cords I just use the no-name multi packs.I guess I should upgrade to Road-Hog or some other established brand for my shorter cords but that could prove a bit pricey for 7 or 8 cords.

I like the planet waves' instrument leads with the button on them, for patch leads I just use the ones boss give you with their pedal boards.

I use monster cables exclusively, I know they are a little pricey but they are sonically transparent, waterproof and have a lifetime warranty. I guess I just like them.

I use some that I've made, some that I've bought (all of the above and more) and sometimes the 1/4" to 1/4" inline switchcraft adapters.

I fabricate custom length patch cables for myself using the George L system.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I don't use effects too much and now I have a Mogami Gold cable from guitar to amp. I used a DIY Canare cable for years, but you can't beat the Mogami.
