Do you subscribe/read any of the Guitar/Bass Magazines?

I used to subscribe to most of them. I have slowly been letting them run out. Now I just buy what one has something interesting in it.

I mostly just read up on them when we get by a bookstore, I get a cup and and burn some time. If there is one with something special in it I buy it.

Same thing here. Nothing in them interest me anymore. I buy Big City Rhythm & Blues every once and awhile.

Bottom line is, their all basically full of trash and advertisements.

Do you ever buy the ones with CD/DVD's with them?

The ones that Andy Aledort puts out with Guitar World are worth it IMHO.

In the past couple of years all of them have gone down hill. The CD/DVD's rarely work right.

That's why I am letting them expire and just buying one if there is something that interests me in them

Guitar Player magazine, I find it to be more sophisticated than most others.
oh, and there's a quarterly magazine that's incredible. All handbuilts and stuff.
I'll see if I can find it.

The last issue was either the June or July issue.

The internet has pretty much killed the guitar magazine. I used to buy two a month, but I just bought my first in four years - and only to look at some adverts for new and/or used guitar stores.
