OK, so I ordered a tube amp head and 2x12 cab, along with some other goodies. Well everythings here but the head (should be here in the next 1hr or so) Now where I live its only around 30 degrees F. My question is should I let it sit to get up to temp. or doesn't it matter that much??? I have my woodburner going so its around 75 in the house. Should I let it get up to room temp?? What do ya-all think?
And yes I'll post pics later today so ya know it happened.

It probably wouldn't hurt to let it sit for a couple hours - just to be safe. I know this is important with new guitars to avoid weather checking, but I guess why risk anything? Heck, time will fly just staring at it

I am interested to see what it is you've ordered. Pictures are a must! 8)

Yeah well worth letting it sit in the warm before switching on. Most things brought into the warm from the cold will have a layer of damp coating everything. In very rare instances when you switch on they go bang as something tracks across.................

pretty rare though fortunately.

Yeah, I had downloaded the manual last week and read through it several times. To the point I can almost quote it chapter, and verse.

And by the way its the Egnater Renegade 65 watt (with a switch to take it down to 18 watts) and the Egnater 212 Tourmaster cab.

Just like guitars, amps don't like sudden temp. or humidity changes-let it sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours even though you must be eager to get'er goin'.Post pix when she comes please and enjoy.

That is one nice set up.

From the looks of where it's located you may have to child proof it though.

These things sound sooo good, I tried the Rebel 20 but opted for something bigger, but the 20 sounded great too.

Nah, my kids are old enough to stay away from it. That table is just there right now cause my oldest moved her sisters stuff off another table.

Sweet set up,Egnator makes some primo gear and that amp combined with the Strats should be a sonic orgy.

Yeah tell me, my youngest decided to stay at a friends tonight, and my 12 year old already threatened to call the cops if I don't turn it down, so I took her phone away. Take that ya little crapper.(one is staying at a friends, and the other was being a $@!&)
But I tell ya this sounds just beautifull, quite a good sonic range. Now i need to do something with the BJ NOS, any takers (just jokeing)
