Yeah we have a Tsunami alert here- due to hit 6am my time. We are lucky enough to have enough warning here.

Seriously though- you think you have it bad and then something worse happens to our good friends in Japan. Horiffic tsunami waves is all im watching now on the news...

I like Japan- they are a passive nation, very friendly folk indeed. I pray that our lord will have mercy on the lost souls of the quake and tsunamis.

Japan has helped NZ in our time of need, I only imagine they will recieve as much help as we can give.

Kia Kaha Japan.

Looks like we even have to keep our eyes open here on the west coast of the US. They don't expect anything major, but are encouraging people in the immediate coastal areas to be prepared for a speedy evacuation in case of a tsunami. All these major earthquakes around the pacific have me feeling a bit uneasy about the possibility of another major one here in the Bay Area. The last thing we need is another Loma Prieta situation. I feel for the Japanese right now. As well as those in NZ still reeling from their tragic earthquakes.

There is one guy from Okinawa on the forums.
The Icelandic state broadcasting station (Rúv) in Iceland is showing live footage from NHK in Japan. Horrible images. And there are some who think that some of the smaller islands in the Pacific might simbly be wiped out.
There is a warning to people who live near an certain nuclear plant to evacuate.
Major mojo to everybody on the dangerzone.

Mojo to those in harm's way.

The media coverage is showing some horrendous video footage!

How vulnerable we all are :!:
