These guys might just be Mike (and maybe Al) at this point, where the original 'family' is concerned, and not the touring band. There's been such issues amongst them that one never knows. I've been under the impression that Mike holds the rights to the name. Last time I 'heard' them was on Maui where he was doing a private corporate event at the hotel next door to us and we just sat out on our balcony and enjoyed the 'audio'.

And so I ask: If you had the chance to have your guitar autographed by a band you admire, would you do it? Or is it a travesty and falls right into the sticker category? What if it were on the back of the guitar?

I had the chance to have one of my favorite guitarists autograph one of my guitars, and I decided it against it.
I think I would only have someone sign my guitar if they had something to do with it.

So if I'd ever made it it to New York before Les Paul died, and I went to the Irridium, I would have taken my Les Paul's pickguard, and had him sign it. Then I would have bought a replacement pickguard to use when playing.

But other than that I can't think of anyone I'd have sign any of my existing guitars, and since Les is gone, that takes care of that one too.
