Any other Creedence Clearwater fans on here? I'm a huge fan and grew up on their music, and still rarely go a day without listening to them. What's your favorite CCR song?

Yep - I'm a fan :) love their sound.

Bad Moon Rising was one of my favourite songs to play for friends because it's so much fun for crowds to sing along to (there's a bathroom on the right). Tracks like Fortunate Son, Down on the Corner and Proud Mary are burned into my memory with images of my friends laughing, dancing and spilling drinks on someone's lounge floor.

Definitely - love the CCR sounds and the memories :)

I like some of their tunes, even still sing and play a couple (Travelin' Band, Born On A Bayou and Fortunate Son) but find it interesting that they tried to portray a southern bayou, green river-type band, while they were based out of California.

Yeah I've always thought that was funny too, but the music is great so I let 'em slide.

Liked them ever since the summer of 68 in L.A. driving around those Hollywood hills listening to Wolfman Jacks radio program. Suzie Q. was in rotation and the Wolfman would howl at the moon and announce the Creedance Clearwater Revivals song. Those old radio hosts had such great schtik for all of those youngsters growing up in the atomic age.

I love most all of CCR but lately I digging "Run thru the Jungle" it had to have some Howlin Wolf influences. I would love to ask John Fogerty if it did.

Was it last year or the year before, there was a John Fogerty concert special on CPTV.
I was quite surprised, I enjoyed it tremendously even though it has been years since Iv'e listened to any CCR. I was impressed that he looked very healthy and talking about the energy bunny on stage.

Run thru the jungle and up around the bend

I love CCR. My dad used to play it whe I was growing up. In the first band I was in, Fortunate Son was one of the first songs we learned to play. That song stayed in my repertoire for many years. I have beat that song to death! I love many of their songs, but this has to be my favorite.
