Well, finally decided on an amp and it was neither VibroK or SS. I noticed a reissue vibrolux beside an original (maybe 64 - 67??) black faced Vibrolux. I plugged my heavy relic strat into each played them both back to back with the supersonic as well. the vintage Vibrolux sounde like a motherfucker so i slapped some shekels down on that. $@!& me what a sound!!! I know theres a great tone base to start with there - probably just add a TS9 or something. You guys are the experts so Ill relay the serial numbers and maybe some of theboffins can tell me the exact vintage?? Thanks guys!

hey Guys just wanted to post up a pic of my heavy relic strat - even when i finish working at the local bar at 1.00 in the morning i come home and play this freak of a guitar - love it. Also posted up a pic of my son Zakk's Les Paul with premium top (the old man has a play of it now and then) Hope you guys can access it

Interesting....and here I was going to suggest that you hunt around for a used '64 Custom Vibroverb, the Diaz modified amp that Fender produced for a few years. In this case, age before beauty.
