They're budget/student versions of Ernie Ball/Music Man guitars. OLP Stands for "Officially Licensed Product", which makes it sound like a shareholder named them instead of a luthier or a musician.

I don't know much about them past that.

Location: location, location.
I've played one or two, and liked them.
They don't exist any more though I don't think.

I have no idea of the quality, but you really can't go solely by "reputation" or the original price when the axe was new. Remember, Danelectros, Silvertones, Kays and Airlines were all considered "junk" back in the day...now, a lot of people are kicking themselves for getting rid of those old guitars.

If the price is right and you like the looks of the guitar, you might go try them out. You don't owe the seller anything except a thank you, even if you don't buy the product.

one is a E.ball EVH copy. the owner swears that this one plays just as good as the original, thats why he bought it. i like the way eddie's played. i just cant see going out and dropping that much coin for a guitar i might play once a month and is not a collectable ya know. but, the copy i can deal with. i just dont want no plywood garbage.

I played one once at a Guitar Center, in the short time I played it I thought it was ok for the price, but not near as nice a real music man guitar. I do remember thinking the neck was a nice size for my hands, but that's the only real impression it left on me. I think there are better guitars to be had in the price range of the OLPs. Just my 2 cents. I say get in contact with one of the sellers and see if you can go check one out. You may end up liking it and buying it. Then it wouldn't be a waste of his/her time.

If it's in good condition, I'd say 120 is a pretty good deal.
