I sit while playing keyboards and sometimes even play guitar while sitting, especially for home recording, but usually it's standing for 'live' git playing.

I have to stand, if I sit to long I fall asleep.

sitting or standing with my electric. doesn't matter
standing with my acoustic. i can plaY IT SO MUch better better standing for some reason

it depends ill stand,sit, lie down just depends on the mood im in.

Acoustic or electric, I always stand and I also always try to not look at what I'm doing unless I'm learning something new or challenging. I try to practice the way I would perform. Standing, amp behind me, looking forward and chin up like I've got my face in a mic.

I usually sit at home..I seem to play better sitting. I stand at church - a bit harder to play that way, not sure why. I should probably practice more standing...I suppose I am too lazy

Standing. I think someone else mentioned it too-I keep better time (for whatever reason).

standing. when i sit and play too long my right shoulder hurts - i don't know why. but it stops me from sitting very long when I play. I sit and play until it hurts, then I gotta stand.

I reckon if i could sit on the dunny and play my playing would be absolutely incredible!!!


Seriously though. I dont gig well anymore. Might do again one day, Small cafe deal maybe. So it's the sit down for me too, In between the legs like BB a bit to lately cause i like lookin at the strat!!! . Wow!! and i aint even 40 yet!!!
