We're talking guitar playing here -- what do you prefer?

I tend to prefer sitting myself.

It's pretty hard to tap dance around 6 or 7 pedals and a wah while sitting so I'd have to say standing.

I have a nasty back injury so I sit for awhile, then stand, then sit again. Sometimes I think I would be better off playing laying down.... :(

Well, since I won my Fender Hotseat in the epic Fender Lounge T-Shirt Photo Competition, I do mostly sitting.

Standing. It helps me keep better time. Don't ask why, I don't know.

Standing. And for some reason I can't stand still. I've just got a tiny bit of boogie goin' on there somewhere.

I think sitting is both easier and more comfortable.....but standings more fun. I'll sit more than I stand, especially until I nail the song, then i go into Rock God mode.

Sitting, with my right foot propped up to cradle the guitar between my leg and body. :D Most of the people that I jam with want me to stand up (not sure why, other than how it looks?) so lately I've been trying to stand more. Totally different feel between the two choices, and I really play better when sitting, as I guess that is what I'm used to. Standing makes bar chording a little easier, but makes thumb-over playing harder for me (arthritis).

Just 'cause of my geezerness, mostly sitting. Too many miles on this old back, and standing for any amount of time with a guitar on is not advised! :(

I find that it's easier to play sitting, but I like to practice standing up so I don't feel akward playing shows.
