I should qualify my nomination of Kirk Hammett by saying that I love James Hetfield's playing...

Angus (and Malcolm) are fu***ng brilliant, BTW. Saying otherwise is rock-n-roll blasphemy. "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Back in Black" were a big part of the soundtrack of my misspent youth.

When are you pimply guitar nerds going to figure out that it's the GROOVE, not the shred, that counts?

I ain't playing this round, the last time I listed my opinion of overrated guitarists a few people went ballistic.

just about anybody can go out and make money playing. the amounts will be a lot different for some, but you get the point. just because you make money at something doesnt mean your any good at it lol.
