have liked the Hartke brand for a while but when I looked for their site I found this

the aluminum cone seems like a cool concept and the cabinets have a great look but I still like the big guns; Ampeg, Acoustic, Gallien Krueger, Mesa Boogie. In the old days Marshall and of course Sunn and SWR (both now owned by Fender). Peavey can hold it's own with them all. I would love to have a bass rig from Fender but without an endorsement you would have to rob a bank to get that much cash for the rig you would need, nice dream though.

a very cool choice Bro. there are many great bass guitarists that use Hartke and if I found a great deal on a Hartke rig I could definitely be tempted. they made this one for Jaco

on the other note, do you think Fender buried those companies or are making good use of those company's designs? not an important question just that I was hoping Fender would make something good happen from those aquisitions.
