Well...the drummer finally showed up today. Said he'd been having some issues with his daughter and her mom and had to take his daughter to Texas. I figured that was a reasonable excuse, so we're gonna give him another shot and see what happens. We haven't found anybody else to fill the spot, so it won't hurt to give him another chance.

Even worse...DigiTech  We've been plugging the keyboard through it when we use the organ sounds. It makes the organ sounds sound pretty sweet with the rotating speaker effect and a little envelope filter action. I've never been a huge fan of the effects that pedal has but I still use it a lot when it's time to put on the headphones.

hum..... looked like a zoom from back here.
i use to have a zoom something or another way back in the early 90's.
a touch cheesey, but dangit i liked that darn thing. seriously. it was a handheld (size)
processor. the effects were a slight cheesey but you could make them work.
still wish i had that thing. wonder if anybody knows what it was? you set it on top of your amp and plugged in.
zoom is a company i had very high hopes for. they were putting all the right effects
in their units at the time. they were on the right track. i havent tried a new zoom anything since. did they ever go anywhere with their stuff? anything on the pro level?

I had a Zoom 505 back in the early/mid 90s. Better effects than DigiTech, but build quality was horrible. Quick search on musician's friend yield 25 Zoom products ( http://backstage.musiciansfriend.com/Zo ... &v=g&pS=20 ). I haven't used their gear in years, so I couldn't tell you whether the quality has improved. It couldn't have gotten any worse though, their stuff in the 90's should have been stamped with a Ford logo it was so unreliable.

Hmm...I don't know of anything they had out that was that small. I really did like their overdrive effects on the 505. I'd almost consider another one now that I wouldn't be abusing it as badly, but I just don't use effects on my guitar anymore. I do think I want a Wah pedal though.

Meh...I don't really use delays too much. My next pedal is going to be either a fulltone OCD or a tubescreamer. I was gonna get a a clean boost pedal, but the od on the Jet City is leaving me wanting just a little more.

OCD smokes the screamer in my opinion.
its a very transparent pedal. the tone is like a smooth whiskey.
