So. No love for my moccasins, huh? :(

I'm hurt. Deeply hurt.

Just realised you hail from Peckham. So uhm... sure I really LOVE those Moccasins!! They're awesome!! (hoping the compliment means you wont come down with the crew, steal my car and torch my cat) :D

Its not clear to me as to whether or not they are real relic moccasins or artifical relic mocs? please confirm. :?:

Oh and again! Friendliness is just breaking out all over. :D

Don't worry, Adam. Me and crew [hearty guffaws] are too busy sitting back catching some rays here on the long golden tropical beaches of Peckham. Behind us the glittering glass skyscrapers are looking fabulous in the sun, and beyond them the snowcapped mountain peaks of... East Dulwich... are shimmering in the haze. So everything's lush.

And no Cool Cat has anything to fear from me...

"A little Peckham is a dangerous thing and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal." Oscar Wilde... sort of.

Enjoy that Strat when you get back to the Surrey Delta. 8)

Haha

looking at that photo, you can just see one of my new plectrums next to my foot. The 2 pence piece sharks tooth.
Best way I've ever found of defacing currency.

Oh my. Those photos of a Ninja-attacked guitar make my heart skip a beat...

Though that wasn't the footwear I was thinking of, Nick.

Hey BTW, Nick: I'm sitting here right this second listening to DC Fontana. I hope that's not a tactless thing to mention? Did you stay on friendly terms with them in the end?

My Missus liked their stuff so much she wanted the album immediately. Supposedly you can buy it from their website - but we couldn't get it to work. So finally we downloaded it from Amazon. Which is all very well but of course without a CD I can't put it through the grown-up stereo, which is a bit tiresome. Not really the full experience on these silly little computer speakers.

Still. First complete album we ever bought as a download. Had to drag ourselves into the 21st century eventually I guess. Lord, I feel old! Shellac 78s, anyone?

Cheers - C

PS: to strat789 - this is what's known as a thread hijack...

Yeah Ceri. Despite not getting the job (something I'm going to be eternally peeved about) I have stayed on friendly terms. I was contacted by The Beautifull South's saxophonist and rapidly passed the details onto Mark (far too big a name for me to be messing up with). Hopefully he's going to put him to good use or plumb him for some contacts. I really am seething about not getting the spot (still) but atleast they have a strong guitarist, aside from myself, I couldn't have picked a better person for the spot. Meanwhile my vocal ability is getting better and better (courtesy of a very good opera singer).
I like you still enjoy the band, they are playing this week at The Sound Bar. I'll probably go being as though I have to be in that area on Monday morning.

I did speak to Mark about album artwork if you're at all interested. I'll happily excahnge details, should you wish.

I may even wear these for the drive down, as they are my no1 driving shoes.

Ha! I strongly doubt I belong on album covers. But see for yourself; I uploaded some stuff to my FaceBook page. ...Though I don't know whether others can see it, or if I did something wrong and it's only visible to me? Not exactly competent at FB. Tell me if you find a spider there; that'll be a clue.

Enjoy the Soundbar!

Loved the Flutterby, is it for sale? Real good expression of depth in that piece. Or is that just part and parcel of the technique used?

I wouldn't know. I'm a philistine.

Graffiti in public lavatories is more my level of capability.
