Is it just me or is Joe's "The mystical potato groove thing" Absolutely incredible??... I haven't listened to him since the 80's but i am glad i revisited him....

Yeah me either but i have been a moderate fan many moons ago....But if you listen to that song front to back even if he's totally not your style (mine not too) He absolutely rocks the hell outta ov it!!!

I hope when I'm 56 years old, I can still play at a very high level like Satch........I went through a phase where I thought the only good guitarists were the shredders and speed wankers.....I have since learned to appreciate a WIDE range of musical styles.....but come on, we ALL wish we could out-wank Stariani, Vai and Malmsteen! LOL Seriously though, Joe has an incredible gift and understands music and melody (and the fretboard) better than most of us ever will. :)
