Dark, sticky French Roast beans for me. Grind 'em up fresh in the morning, one cup and I'm good for the day. (Well, sometimes two.) :D

I like a fairly strong medium or light roast coffee,I have found that a lot of places burn the oils in the coffee when doing a dark roast making it bitter and acidic.
My favourite coffees are Kona Hawaiian,Jamaican Blue Mountain and Kenyan AA Aribica. Whenever I can I buy fair trade coffee, that way I can be assured that the growers are getting a fair price and have good working conditions so I don't mind paying a few bucks more for that peace of mind.I have found that President's Choice Great Canadian Coffee is one of the best "mass Produced"coffees available in Canada but A.L. Van Houte is probably about the best all around brand.

I drink at least 10 big mugs of coffee a day-can't do without it.

8 O'Clock or Dunkin' Doughnuts whole bean. Coffee maker does all the work after beans and water are added. Think I'll run off a batch now.

Cheers,

Oh man, that is too cool! My kind of woman! 8)

Do I get to meet Mrs BH when we take our tonewood shopping trip? Or are you planning to be too ashamed of how much beer you will drink and expecting to need a little sleep on the beach to get over it before inflicting yourself upon the Better Half again?

[Waving] Hi Ms BigHair! :D

Cheers - C

[Mrs Bighair waves back]

I hope so! (though not too keen on the way she blushed when she saw your post :? ) She's much better company than I am. I'm failing miserably to convince her to be our designated driver. Ah well, need to get some time off work first.

Regarding my drinking, the only thing I'm ashamed of is how little it takes to get me drunk! :D

Cheers!

Andy

At home I tend to just drink one of the Moccona instant blends (I buy a different one each time) unless we have friends coming over - then it's a good excuse to head down to the shops and buy something special for the machine.
