I heard mixing string gauges helps keep the guitar in tune better, Ive also heard SRV and Hendrix did this. I was thinking of going with a mix of Fender Light and Regular to get a .10 .13 .16 .26 .32 .42. Before I do this is this myth true??????????

If you look around I'm sure you could find a brand that already does that gauge.

Not really, it has more to do with seeking a heavier bottom end sound wise, if your springs, trem. claw and float are adjusted correctly tuning should not be an issue, unless you are totally
Van Halen'it or the G. Lynch method.

Try these.

I never tried them myself, but my guitar teacher always uses them.

I mean just keeping it in tune in general, especially with vibrato and tremolo arm use, Hendrix used this method, and I already have my gauge sets, I got em for free so its not like im spending $20 trying to assemble a set or anything
