i put pics of two of the many things i'm proud to own, my hat and my new england dragway trophy

it's helpful on some forums to have gear lists. i'm also a member at the classic mustang forum where i have in my signature line "69 Convertible, 351W, C4". that way, if my car's broke and i'm looking for help trying to fix it, i don't have to continually answer the questions "what year? what model? what motor? what transmission?" it's right there... and that's mostly what the forum's about - fixing mustangs.

not sure a "gear list" serves the same purpose here, although it's kinda cool when you see somebody else is using a similar setup. i'm not a fan of the HUGE signature pics either. if i get some new gear and want to show it off, i'll throw a post out there like the majority of my fellow lounge lizards. after that it's old news.

Obviously I don't find gear lists annoying but other things are annoying to me. To each their own I guess
If bandwith is an issue, Fender could forbid images in a signature
I personally don't see how a gear list is any more annoying that reading the same quotes, or joke, or personal belief

Just my 2cents

List it. I might notice that you use some gear that I would like to know more about. You providing me with as much information about what you do and use is only a benefit to me, if I can keep myself from being annoyed long enough to appreciate it.
