hello there everyone,
I just completed the seeing eye/ultra mod to my boss ds-1, and it really brought the tone into this thing! has anyone else done this mod? I have one qualm with it though, when engaged, the pedal is very loud. now I know that anything overdriven is gonna have some sort of hum or hiss to it, my question is: is there anything I may have missed that can cause it to be a little loud, or am I just hearing things. please keep in mind that I have yet to run it on my rig (parts strat through a '78 Fender studio bass) but I have ran it through my walking around rig (peavey delta blues 115) at a modest apartment volume. I could be imagining it, but again, has anyone else had any experience with this pedal mod?
