I bought a fender G-Dec amp yesterday and i am having problem with the silver knob which turns to change the preset, the drum pattern, key etc.Suppose i want to change the preset from U01 to U02, when i rotate the knob clockwise, only sometimes does it become U02, rest of the time it takes me to P34 or any random preset.Basically its not going in order.Is this normal?Even same with the drum level.Suppose level set to 3.4 and i wanna make it 5.4, then i have to rotate it clockwise to increase it, but while doing this sometimes it decreases to 1 or 2 and then suddenly increases to 6 or 7.Why is this happening?

Welcome to the forum. Instead of trying to figure whats wrong with it, bring it back to the store you bought it from and let them replace it. Its under the Fender warranty and it shouldn`t be a problem.
