Hey guys!
As some of you may know I'm in the middle of doing a Music Advisor course through Armstrong Learning here in Belfast which involves learning about the financial and marketing side of things and our coursework involves putting on a big event with a budget of £400. This is done on the Thursday and the rest of the week is a work placement with a view to staying on and I have landed on my feet there because I'm working in a vintage guitar store called The Guitar Rooms!!

Just had my first day in there where I'll be teaching beginners and looking after some fine instuments e.g. today I spent hours swithching between an 83 Tele and a Gibson ES-175 through a 59 Bassman!! Heaven on Earth.

I think I'm going to enjoy my time there! It's good for the band too as I finished a song we have been working on while I was 'testing' those lovely P90's on the Gibbo!

Cheers guys! I'm loving it so far. The place was opened last year by Arlo Guthrie and there are many high profile regulars too so should be interesting. Plus they are an official Lowden dealer and George Lowden works closely with them. For those who don't know Lowden are some of the finest acoustics on the planet and are made here.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Never said that about any job before. lol
