I just bought a used 2007 Deluxe Players Strat that has some string buzz issues. I want to take it to a reputable tech in Nashville who will do a good thorough set-up and and get it in top playing condition.

Who do you think is the best guitar tech in Nashville to take it to, who won't break the bank?

I've heard good things about Joe Glaser but I don't know what he charges or how long it would take. I've also heard Classic Ax on 16th Ave is good.

Let me know what you guys think.

Joe Glaser is as good as it gets,I've heard good things about a place called Nashville Fret Works,I'm going to contact them and get some work done on a Les Paul...a friend of mine recommended them,I don't know where the place is yet.

Go to Gruhn Guitars... Its a heck of a store and has some fantastic techs on staff, Greg Voros in particular

I had heard that Gruhn didn't do any outside repair or set-up work. Is that true? I agree it's an amazing store.

I just wish I could go into Gruhn's with about $100,000 to spend.
