computer help needed: can't upload pics

I'm trying to put the pics of my new Kramer on photobucket, but every time I click "upload" (after selecting the file), I get a message telling me to restart the computer. It also did this when I tried uploading to facebook. The computer is a Mac.

Sometimes you have to be patient while it uploads. But I have never had Photobucket tell me to restart my comp. Which OS is it you're running? Leo? Snow Leo?

Have you checked all the variables? i.e.
-tried using a different browser (Safari or Opera or Firefox for instance)
-made a new Photobucket account
-deleted all cached info in the browser
-did a "Repair Disk Permissions" from the Disk Utility?

Highly unlikely that it should cause problems.

Tried a different photo hosting service? Flickr? etc.?

It's not photobucket, I think it's the computer itself because it does this with facebook as well.... not sure of the OS.

P.S.: Installed any silly and / or third party software lately? Sometimes that can cause weird stuff...

If you click on the little Apple icon on top left of screen, then click on "about this mac", it will tell you which system you're running and a version number.

You need to zero all data on your HDD. Should be good after that
