The word luthier really bothers me around guitars.

A man walks into a music store with his electric guitar which acoustically, has a rattling D string. The "guitar tech" proclaims the pickups must be replaced.

Sick and tired of "guitar techs" who know nothing.

The phrase, "guitar tech" really bothers me around guitars.

90% of the time a "guitar tech" is in reality, some socially arrested imbecile who performs catastrophic experiments on others' guitars.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.
