OK, right now I have a Blues Jr. NOS and love it, but I'm thinking on something bigger. Now the thing is I've been checking out the Egnater Rebel 30watt and a 2x12 cab, and a Renegade 65 watt with the 2x12 cab. I like the idea of the tube mix and wattage adjustment on these. Does anyone on here have any experience with these amp? And what are your thoughts on them? Any and all input would be great, and i haven't ruled out the Fender line, but these Egnater amps seem to have alot of good features Fender doesn't offer. So what do ya-all think?

You already asked this question in the Modern Amps section here...

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=51751

...and that was exactly where you were supposed to ask your question. So you did it right the first time. Now you need to pore over that Modern Amp section and search those threads for people's experiences. They're all in there if you just look. Try a user search for a member called 63Supro. He knows the Egnator amps well. I think this site calls a user an author.

In the final analysis only you can decide which amp is best for you. The opinions of others can help to steer your search in the right direction but you can't let the opinions of others dictate what you finally buy. An amp is far too important to let others sway you. Trust your ears. Only you know what sounds good to you.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

BMW-KTM, I know I asked it over in the mod. amp section, but then relized it said modern Fender amps, so I thought I posted in the wrong area. Thanks for the heads up on 63Supro. I really like the Egnater Amp and was pretty much trying to get feed back as far as the tube mix/ variable wattage on them. So thanks again.

I see a lot of positive feedback going towards the Egnater Rebel series (20 & 30), as well as the tweaker. A lot of people can't get past the fact that they're chinese-made, though if they were American-made you can bet they'd be a heck of a lot more expensive. Definitely a nice amp, especially if you're one who enjoys exploring different sounds (it'll keep you busy for weeks).

Can't comment on the Renegade as I've never come across one, but I'm sure it's also a nice choice.

Anyway, best of luck with your amp selection process! 8)
