I believe there is a such thing as owning too many guitars.

I currently have 27 guitars,10 amps and a king's ransom's worth of pedals and I'm still not done-I just love exploring different tones.

Whenever I get a new guitar, I want it on the wall so I can grab it anytime and play away. For me the question is, can I hang it on the wall and have the wife not notice it when she comes down to the Music Room? Let's see, the new guitar is red, so take down the red Tele Custom and stick the SG where it was and dim the lights...

I haven't bought a guitar in six months and I'm proud of myself. I have a therapist in MN who emails now and then and asks how I'm doing. As along as he just asks about guitars, I'm okay - if he starts asking about amps, I'm in trouble.

A less algebraic answer, this is the correct number:

So if (N+1) is greater than (S-1) we can assume a positive friction value?

Actually, that's about 4 years old, so it's slightly out of date. Here are current electrics:

Here are most of the acoustics, except the mandolin was on loan, it's since been returned and replaced by the one seen in the solo shot below:

Also, added this when I needed a last-minute acoustic-electric for an audition:

I think that's current.

;)

Well, well, well - you and I have some pretty noticeable overlaps, though I haven't thrown mine out there yet. I saw a couple of Peavey basses - I've got a real nice T-40 I bought from Waco Guitars when I was down in Texas. And I saw what looked to be a Peavey T-60 there, too, one of my favorite (and heaviest) Peavey guitars that I bought in a Mexican-owned pawn shop in McAllen, Texas, and was that a black Peavey T-30 or 45? We share an obvious love for Teles and then there's that weird little Ovation electric - I've got an Ovation Viper III that I bought new a long time ago.

So many guitars, so little time...

Yeah the black T-60, being a solid color, is poplar, and only 8.5 pounds. Not bad at all. The black Peavey bass is a Fury (I), which is a re-badged T-20.
