Well my reply to that would be, how long is a piece of string? No-one can say for sure.

So many good alternatives, wives don't get it, but as many as you want and can afford seems right.

I think I got the number and it is around 4-5 in active rotation. More than that and I start loosing track which strings go where and when is the maintenance/string change time on each.

As far as collection/case queens, I have none. One can suppose have as many one can afford.

I’ve learned the truth of this statement many times over the years. The ability to pick-up my guitar and use it as a firewall against the rest of the world – or to draw people to me when I feel the need – has figuratively saved my life more than once.

The answer is, you only NEED one…but it also begs the question, “do you REALLY need it?”.

Sometimes, the answer to that question is, “more than anything in the world”.

Exactly my thoughts. Even Einstein came up with the same solution after many years of research.
