Laney is a great brand but I don't know about their prices.Traynor and Yorkville Sound (made by Traynor)make very good quality low priced powered monitors and even make really decent self powered P.A.s. You can find out more here http://www.traynoramps.com

Just a little nit pick but it's actually the other way around. Traynor is a Yorkville Sound brand. If you go to Yorkville's website and click on Products you'll find Traynor listed. I don't know if Yorkville was always the mother ship but if definitely has been for quite a number of years.

You're right BMW-KTM I should have known that Yorkville Sound is the parent company especially after owning several Traynor amps-the effects of old age raises it's ugly head again.
