Started playing the guitar shortly after 1st marriage. Being obsessed with learning how to play led to selfishness which led to alienation which led to divorce which led to alchohol which led to drugs which led to low self esteem which led to soul searching which led to Christ which led to sobriety which led to new job which led to new friends which led to new wife which led to kids which led to a renewed interest in my music. The difference in the good and bad is; that all the bad in my eyes was clearly "selfinflicked". I use the name to remind me where not to go. :D

Great testimony, I got my name because I aspire to create new mandolin styles. (Not working yet but still goin' for it! :D ) My friends all say I'm crazy cuz I like VW's, and want to live in a tiny homemade house and stuff and I suppose I am kinda weird. I liked the name crazymandolinist because it says a bunch about me obviously. I like to use it on all the forums, sometimes if it doesn't fit I use crzy rather than crazy but that really doesn't matter, I also like...............zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Jason - 1st name
L - last initial (stands for Long)
815 - The date in 1992 that I married my dream girl!

Yeah I know it's kinda sappy, but I don't care! :)

I took my name from a BB King song, and from the song that I wrote for Stevie Ray, which was just God awful...

Listen to almost any Dave Gilmour solo and you'll hear where I got cryingstrat. No one makes a strat cry like Dave.

The Orville by Gibsons are both Wine Red. The one on the left is a higher end model, with ebony fretboard, fret edge binding, Gibson Classic '57 humbuckers. The one on the right has rosewood fretboard and Gibson 490 humbuckers. The Gold Top is a late 1974 "relic." You can really see the lacquer checking.

I wouldn't mind owning that Goldtop one bit. You've wet my appetite, now I have to go looking for one. Damn G. A. S.
