actually, i think the most reliable amp out there were any of the 80's peavey's.
i think very few if any could put up a good fuss about that.

I use a 2203 a lot, So does Billy Gibbons and Clapton's just sold two. Their not as high gain as most people suppose. The reason the metal guys like em is because of the huge bass and clear mids.
Personaly I think they have a little too much treble, but their more than workable.

The JTM45 is the Beano sound amp.
Like I said before the DSL 50 head into a 1960A cab is a modern miracle.
