If you could only play one for the rest of your life.

Which pickup would you choose...Single coil or Humbucker....Your reason would help.

Single coil - - just personal preference.

I'd have a hard time deciding between a Strat with L series style and a Casino John Lennon with P-90s,both pickups ring beautifully when played clean but dirty up real pretty.

What are those humbuckers you're talking about?

I gotta go with single coils as well. Humbuckers don't have much character IMO.

Singlecoil!!!!
Fender is more of a singlecoil company so since I love the tone of fender I am gonna have to go with singlecoil.
Nothing against Gibson because I love the Growl of a Les Paul through a JCM 800
or the jazzy tone of their Hollow Bodies.

Peace.
Telemaster :D

Strats don't have only one pickup soooo....

Kinman P90HX for the neck
Kinman Mk III for the middle
Coil tapped Pearly Gates for the bridge

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
