My picks are made from 1964 and earlier silver quarters. (Starting in 1965 quarters were no longer made of silver.)

They add a sweet tone, feel great, and look good

All I can say is strum a chord slowly with any of your picks and then do the same with a V-Pick large rounded and tell me you can't hear a difference in fullness of tone. Heck, maybe I'm tone deaf, I don't know, but it sounds a lot fuller to me. Of course we all know about opinions?
And to be fair I've not tried all the picks mentioned on this post. That may be it? :)

Fender 0.60 mm (orange), regardless of what style music I'm attempting to play.

Fender 51 mediums and Dunlop .60. Also like Brain picks in .73. They have so much grip! :D I find that Fender thin picks break easily.

I am a recent V-Pick convert. Prior to the recent switch, I had been using Jim Dunlop .88mm Tortex and Tortex Sharps for about 20 years. I recently got turned onto some V-picks, and some people describe the BBE Sonic Stomp as taking a blanket off your speakers, well to me V-picks was like taking a blanket off my picks/picking...So now I am really liking the V-picks Medium Pointed picks.

I was actually using Fender Mediums before my buddy showed me the Toxtex. I still uses the Fenders from time to time, but I love the bit of texture on the Tortex picks. They feeel right for me.

Talking about guitars is fun. :P

THAT's called "money to burn" eh? I wonder if rare 'picks' are a small investment not too much bigger than diamonds......

I've used some type of metal pick for over 30 years.... love the harmonics I can easily get. I now use ALICE stainless-steel picks from Silver Spring Music. (check on eBay.)

I DO plan on getting some V-Picks. Not sure what size or type yet. I'll definately inform all here (my opinion) after I get them and see how (much better?) they are.......
